A Passing Breeze

Oh trembling breeze, where are you bound
You pass by like a whisper of wind
Then flutter your wings to higher ground
To a cave where your breeze must descend

What took the wind from such sad sails
Who cast your heart far out to sea
What storm blew your course off trembling rails
And why must you flutter past me

Too long you've sought solace in your cave
That creed only breeds indecision
It binds you and makes you a slave
Darkness finds and blinds your vision

Oh trembling breeze, where are you bound
Stay awhile and make a new friend
Don't pass by, let's share common ground
And smell the breeze of a fresh new wind
