A Part of Me

Just looking out to the sky,
I remember how it hurts to say goodbye.
Did you hear me whisper into your ear?
I said "I love you" w/ a tear.
I do not know how to deal with this,
it's hard for every memory to be missed.
A part of me wants to hide,
Both happiness & sadness collide.

A part of me longs for you,
A feeling I cannot bear, what should I do?
Is this all just a dream?
Wake me up when everything is already back to where it seem.
You just don't know how things will change here.
I'm too scared, help me understand & let this feeling be clear.
Are you listening?
your trace just disappeared to nothing.
Is this really for real?
But they say time will heal.
A part of me already have a stain,
But still, I cannot blame anyone & complain.

And in your grave, they carved it deep,
"the best of what you are is what we'll keep."
this is my passion & this is what I can do,
All these questions will lead me to every clue.

This Necklace I'll wear everyday,
for it was given to me before that day.
And a part of me will let it be,
But now I know that someone's watching over me.
