A Parent

I carry my pain for its part of my soul,
Though it weighs heavy,
It’s keeping me whole,
You are my children,
Your all that is true,
So when life gets too painful,
I will carry yours too.

A beautiful poem that reminds me of the two footprints in the sand that became one.

The art of responsibility, so much love in such a small poem, yet so powerful.
