A Painful Loss (Part Six)

Stephen does not notice
The monster above him
Though his mother does
She cries Stephen run

The monster silences her quickly 
Stephen cries out at his loss
He is suddenly filled with rage.
His vision clouded by hate.

Though he can see his target clearly
He takes the thing nearst to him
A shovel and hurles it with strangth
Hitting the monster in the heart.

A loud squeeling sound
Is heard
Then silence
.....
