A One Way Love

As I look in to his eyes,
I can’t help but want to cry,
He only see’s a one way road,
Not that I to carry his load.

He seems to think that I don’t care,
He is everywhere but there,
So detached he wonders on,
Before I know it he is gone.

To justify I can’t explain,
But to share this unending pain,
I don’t know what I am meant to do,
To show him that I feel it to.

Maybe as the years roll on,
He will see the girl I don,
Is just because I love him so,
And never want to see him go.
