A Once Loving Sun

I find myself drinking from a bitter cup which I’d much rather set aside,,, for is full with tale of long past memories and time lost as a vapor to the dry dust of distant swirling winds…… a tale sweet in memory yet biting with recognition those times are now cast into darkness - never again to be found within the light of a once loving sun.

Wow, thank you for the kind words It is always so rewarding to know my work reaches you. Honestly, I wish I had an answer as to why so many of my writings are of loss and sorrow. Perhaps it is because I consider myself one of the happiest and joyful people I know ... so when sorrow comes my way I am deeply affected and moved by it. Have a great day !
