A Nyxian Symphony
A Nyxian Symphony
The sun sets
My eyes close as night grows
Thoughts and dreams are lost
A soft melody starts with the twinkling of the first star
Oboes and clarinets are far in the distance
Yet their sounds echo through the rustling leaves
The soft strumming of a wooden guitar comes with the evening breeze
The drums rhythmic beat travel up from the aging cobblestone streets
The forests give the air the voice to sing haunting melodies
Nyx gave this mortal her blessing with her mystical symphony
Bringing a peace and a hope to the darkness of night
Her music will live on as long as the sun sets and the moon rises
Her music will play as long as there is someone to listen
Yet no one will praise her
No one will know her name
They will just know her music and that will be enough
