A Nyctophile's Wish

Let all the light be gone, And darkness sweep my bones. A black veil that'll calm my soul, That'll hold me down-- A escape before light fills the world. Let all the light be gone, The soft noises of the night to heal my heart. Crickets, nightingales, owls; Few cars and people moving around. Let all the light be gone, So I can be free, finally free, From the bustling human world, Close my eyes and enjoy the breeze As darkness engulfs me.

I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
