A Note of Thanks
As winter creeps upon us
darkness caves in on us easily;
Why in haste like Mary in the gospel?
to break the news about the promise foretold.
A source of joy, a defining experience,
that makes us whole again;
with the Word made flesh
Incarnation, the mystery of God’s love
keeps us focused on
who we are for Christ.
restored and loved
as eternity gets in to history.
It’s a celebration of faith
replete with hope and gratitude
Oh Lord, our Savior
we thank you, indeed.
