A Night With Stars

A Night with Stars You will find, at the Eagle Nation Buffet, an ambiance, a place you would love to stay. Where exotic cuisine is at its best and social intercourse is the test for one to find soul connections, great people, sincere affections. The spirit, the soul’s perfect direction, being caught happily by the attention. One wonders, where this journey will lead ? One wonders, what spiritual need will it feed ? One wonders, if the soul will – the creed heed ? One wonders, if life will rise up from this seed ? Fari, an accomplished actress, a beautiful Lady, I must confess, offers a space void of worldly stress as she holds court over her congress. A cornucopia of many diverse interesting souls. A basket of pure energy only the universe knows except upon the beautiful faces it shows and the connections that surely grows. B. J. “A ” 2 April 6th 2015

I think some individuals possess more passion than others. Some who are not outwardly expressive can possess deep wells of passion and under the right circumstances can be a wonderful surprise. Drop by and visit, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on some of my pieces. Pick out 5 of yours that you think I might enjoy and I will be happy to read them. Goodnight.

among the twenty thousand pages of my seventy nine volumes of biographical, auto biographical, pictorial family history books. I am not saying I do not have passion for I am sure it comes screaming out in some of my stuff about my Daughters, The Polish Princess ( Moneca, Monica, Monika ) and my Oriental Blossom ( Xiao Ling ). AH yes my Man, “ I think some individuals possess more passion than others. ” that is so very true “ and under the right circumstances can be a wonderful surprise.” .

Dear Richard Lamoureux : Thank you for the communique Richard. That goes without saying “ I think some individuals possess more passion than others.” Richard, which is way your talents far surpass those of mine, for yours are tempered with education, knowledge, technique and your passion for expression. I just wrote letters to those of the subject matter of my stuff, not out of passion for writing or in the style I did. And it was not passion that put it out there, for if it was not for a young Asian Lady, all my stuff would still be buried

Besides I am a slacker and have little to no time to get past my eight / ten hour days at this one eyed monster answering emails, comments, or cropping, pasting adding photos to my books, etc., etc., to read anything other than what comes before me – such as what I am doing right now. I have three books on my coffee table to read, two of which have been there collecting dust for over two years and out of some 2114 pages I have managed to read 448 pages and one of those books – Island Skies – is of poetry . “ Pick out 5 of yours that you think I might enjoy and I will be happy to read them. ” As much as I would like to Richard, and appreciate your offer to read them, I do not know if I could find the time to do so or find five that would be worthy of highlighting for you ??? Time to move on and answer another comment, so you have a great day Richard, and be seeing you again some time . Bill . ( B. J. “A” 2 )

“ Drop by and visit, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on some of my pieces.” I think the five comments on your wall clearly indicate that I have visited. As for my “ thoughts on some of my pieces. ” what can a man without knowledge, experience or technical savvy be qualified to judge or say, other than what I have already said to you ??? As I have just read some more of your poetry I realize that, other than admire your acumen, I can only be covetous of your talents and incapable of passing judgement on your abilities Richard.

subject: My Poem A Night with Stars on PoetrySoup. from: William J. Atfield Jr. bja2mgmenter@gmail.com date: Monday, April 13th, 2015 at 3:27 PM to: Richard Lamoureux poetrysoup@poetrysoup.com Dear Richard : “ I like that you are passionate l. ” Why thank you Richard, but are we not ( one and all ) passionate about something ?, or many things ? and I would like to think “ it creates more interesting dialogue. ” but have to admit that I personally have seen very little, if any of it !!! I guess that it depends on one perspective of what constitutes “ interesting dialogue. ” Anyway Richard, thank you for stopping by and for taking the time to comment and for the “ dialogue. ” with regards to Olives poem LUST . I enjoyed reading the poem and the subsequent explanation you wrote to Olive. I don't know if I agree with your assssment of Olive's lust poem. I did't get the feeling that she was anti lust but rather she was expressing that like many human encounters there can be a darker aspect to the experience. I also agree with your perspective on lust.

Like so many words, man has added new meanings to them, just like, in this age, most now call supper dinner and dinner lunch etc., etc. I guess that I am of the old school and still call a spade a spade, mean what I say and say what I mean. “ I did't get the feeling that she was anti lust ” and now that she has stated “ i put it a warn in between the lines.. :) ” that, I can see “ it boils emotions to peak ” might represent positive passion instead of my total perception of her poem, but her statement “ it's not all negativity here.. ” would certainly confirm my belief in the essence of her poem . Anyway Richard, understanding comes from the eyes and experiences of the beholder !!!, do you not think ??? Bill . ( B. J. “A” 2 )

Good morning Richard Lamoureux : Nice to see a word or two from you again. I hope all has been well with and for you ??? Thank you for the visit and your comments “ I enjoyed reading the poem and the subsequent explanation you wrote to Olive. ”. Thank you for “ I also agree with your perspective on lust. ” that Richard. I think organized religions used lust as a tool and gave it a bad rap. I suppose, if that is where one’s head is at, “ there can be a darker aspect to the experience ” but to take a sick individuals actions and attribute them to lust does not fit the definition !!!, don’t you think ???

Hello Olive : It has been awhile my Dear, but as always good to see a word or two from you and to know that you stop by once in a while. Thank you Olive for the compliments “ The last paragraph is a wow!// ” and “ I like how your use of metaphor here with regards to the stars. :)! ” although I have to say that there were no metaphors my Dear. The stars are real people a Persian actress, a Native movie camera man, a costume maker for the movies, an art director, a poetess / screen writer and the events described took place at the Eagle Nation restaurant. The people and the events are pictured on my facebook site .

I see that you have been busy with your poetry Olive, the one that caught my attention is “ L U S T ” for it seems that you have left out the true positive nature of lust / passion in order to paint this picture of some mindless negativity. Without lust / passion you would not be writing poetry my Dear,, we would not have the fresco of old, the Sistine Chapel filled with Michelangelo’s paintings etc., etc. The lust for life is what keeps people from the arms of suicide, the lust for life and love is what makes relationships work etc., etc. I am sorry that you put such a negative spin on such a beautiful emotion . Bill . ( B. J. “A” 2 )

Good morning Kim : And it is on this side of the planet, at least in our little part of it. Thank you for stopping by and for the comment “ A lovely dedication, ” and understandings “ that the recipient obviously adored. ”, “ Perfect for the occasion that inspired the write ” I was beginning to wonder ?, but glad that you have continued to follow through, even if concerns may have been holding you back ??? Thank Kim, for being there !!! “ BLOSSOMS AND BUBBLES ” my favorite place to meditate, contemplate, create, vegetate and saturate. “ MY HYPOCRISY ” a desire we all – or at least most of us – would love to experience, unfortunately so many are afraid to step into the arms of love and passion. Auto biographical ??? As ever Bill . ( B. J. “A ” 2 )
