A Night Of Prayer

We danced under the Stars
That night on the lake shore
It was in that very moment
I knew I wanted her forever more

The music was playing softly
As together our bodies swayed
It was it then you stole my heart
So I look to God and prayed

I said God she is the one
That I want for all my life
And If it is your will Lord
Let me make her my wife

She comforts my soul lord
She brings my heart delight
I asked you Lord to answer
Is prayer that I pray tonight

And then I look back at her
The stars were glistening in her eyes
They were more beautiful than those
Left hanging in the night skies

The Moon lit up her face
As the wind teased her hair
There is no better time for me
To her my heart I had to bare

My heart had made it clear
That I can never love another
She was the one made for me
And God intended to be my lover
