A Newspaper

Today
I read a newspaper,
In it was half a column
On a people starving and dying,
The rest of it was :
Photos,
Crossword puzzle,
And faded letters.

You have pointed out a very sad fact, my friend! My guess is that individuals feel helpless to effect change! Secondly, it is uncomfortable to think of such things... sad but true! Well written my sir! Good wishes and welcome to Poetry Soup... you WILL enjoy it here! Jack

Thanks Jack, It is a painful fact, some newspapers do not write something useful, When you read it you will find that the most important thinin it is crossword puzzles, and sometimes the obituary's corner. Thank you very much Jack.

Thank you, Aeysha, I really felt disgusted when I read a newspaper which does not tell the truth as it is. My goood regards.
