A New Year Wish

I wish that all words spoken began with AGAPE
A love pure, sweet, honest, unconditional and everlasting
The first, the last like a morning star.

I wish that every walk that you and I took
Lead us to the place of tapestry of grace
So pure so holy so kind so forgiving so able.

I wish as night descends and morning breaks
That ‘Emanuel’ God with us whispers heavens at hand.

Like a torpedo
Like a mighty storm
I wish you would come rushing in.

Though troubles stand before me
I know you walk beside me
You are forever by my side.
