A New Year Plea

A NEW YEAR PLEA

My muse has left me high and oh so dry,
Just when I needed inspiration, my of my,
New Year in, the old Year out,
What must I do, bewildered, in doubt,
When will my muse return I wail, plead and cry!

Your good deeds will see you in good stead. One day you may even visit NZ and see for yourself how stamps and first Day Covers are fairing in their new surroundings. Be of good cheer, David in NZ

I'm sure many of us can relate to the lack of inspiration described so well in your poem, Jennifer. I feel lucky when I'm inspired to write one poem a month. Really enjoyed the humor! Hugs, Carolyn

Well, perhaps the clue is in your words, Jennfer: You say that you have been left 'high and dry.' So, expert analyst that I am (LOL!), I deduce that you are smoking marijuana, instead of drinkng wine!! My Rx for you: Hit the bottle, honey! LOL. Seriously, relax, accept everything, count your blessings, and VOILA, the errant Muse will fly right back to you!! Best wishes, Gershon
