A New World Order
The novelty of it all
A mutant virus here
The medics they call
Hoping to stem the fear

Epidemiologists ponder
Treatment is so dear
In hospitals here or yonder

Wave after wave of spikes
More fear in countries yonder
Elites here, in worry say, "Crikes"

Cases and positive tests
Untested vaccines become our likes
In them all our hope rests
