A New Meaning to “Spring Forward”

Every year we hear the same thing
We’re to spring forward in the spring
Time manipulation was what it meant
But this time, spring itself was sent
Continuing winter makes us moan
How much forward has spring gone
Day after day we shiver and shake
How much more of it can we take
Snow in the air and coating the ground
I looked out the window and frowned
Winter weather please go away
“Too hot” I promise not to say
