A New Look
From an
eagle eye-
my outlook;
I looked
and looked.
My eyes on
you-
twinkling,
as though
I’d been
hooked on
you.
“What do I
do?”
My world I
thought
you had
ruled.
Me, still
look’n at
you was
unbeknown
to me.
Shiny dark,
long hair;
your eyes'o
seductive,
and body
so inviting;
dressed to
thrill,
like the
erotic dancer,
Mata Hari
of the
World War
One
you be.
Heart shook.
Eyes blinked,
and I
stopped to gaze
as I agnized
you got a
new look.
As phenomenal
as the
pages of an
award-winning
Poetry Book
and a
masterpiece.
