A New Life
A new chapter in my life has been opened
5 months have passed since then
Exhilarated by a sense of freedom
Finally in control of my very own destiny
A wonderful man has become part of my life
4 months of true love and happiness
Feelings of immeasurable passion
Now free to be who I am
Yet another change is in store for me
1 month from now a new job
Engulfed by a multitude of emotions
A chance to broaden my horizons
The past has been left behind
The present is the best I’ve ever known
The future is full of hope
All of this has made me the person that I’ve become
If my dreams are ever to be realized
The courage & strength must come from within
