A New Future

All I have is a world of new strangers.

They try to make me feel welcomed.

Let us ignore my past together!

As I tell them a story about my past that makes sense.

And I can laugh as my past is seething at me like a forest night.

As the trail I’ve blazed has been undone by my lies.

So that I may continue a life of normalcy.
