Notes About The Poem

The more that the Lord has touched my heart and life, the more
I am drawn to HIM.... What a glorious LORD HE is.

A New Fountain

A New Fountain

A brand new fount the Father has opened
for me to draw water out,
these living waters are full of joy
and will cause one to lift up a shout.

This fount He has opened can never run dry
as it comes from His throne up above;
it is a fount of His blessing and mercy
and a fount of His glorious love.

Who knows what wondrous treasures
this fount on me will bestow;
all good and perfect gifts come from Him
so I’ll gladly accept them I know.

Yet no matter how much I continue to drink
from this fount I’m thirstier for Him,
so as I seek for His face and live in His grace
I cry, Father come fill me again!
