A New Fate

My future had not come out unharmed.

It is as if there is a spell cast over my innocence.

Fearing that my path has been altered.

I choose to embrace the memories.

As if I had been remembering correctly all along.

As if any of those memories made sense.

So that I can try to analyze to the point of more confusion.

So that I can stay paranoid.

Just in case I learn how to travel back in time again.

So that more secrets are created.

So that they cannot ruin my past.

So that I can ruin my past in whatever way I choose.
