A New Day
I wake up in the morning
to await your friendly loving words
remembering our conversations
brings a ready smile to my lips
spend my nights dreaming
in pleasant repose
things to do
days keep me busy
but ever in my thoughts you rest
picturing your smile
lifts my heart
thank you for showing me
that love can be found
in the unlikeliest of places
and reside in one
who is not worthy
