A New Day

A new day 

It's a new day 
So let's begin 
Creating brand new wonderful things 
This gifts not to be wasted 
It's a blessing
To see each new sunrise
To know for sure 
With every sunset 
There's always something in store

It's a new day 
Let the past fade away 
As we are renewed 
Every moment that seems fleeting
Is the opportunity to leave behind 
A memory 
That's everlasting 
A smile or a simple touch 
Anything done in absolute love 
Will be enough 
To live, to laugh and love again 
Is something that can never be regained 

It's a new day now 
So as your feet hit the floor 
In busyness of your day 
Of your life 
Try your hardest to keep out
Trouble and strife 
Letting in more 
Clarity 
As you begin to see
This day will never be lived again 
And there's just so much to do 
But take a precious moment 
Breathe it all in 
It's this very day to let in and win 
It's the day that was made just for you and I
To be joyful 
To begin 
To create 
To be 
A brand new day is a blessing not to be ignored
