A New Day
I hear the music play
as I begin to dance in a wonderful trance.
It's a new day!
As the haunting notes of a silver flute
float across the cool morning air,
I feel the breeze in my hair.
I feel the beat
of a drum drumming, drumming
making me groove and move my feet,
I feel like I could fly
when harp strings take wings
into a clear blue sky.
Suddenly golden trumpets join the fray
heralding a beautiful new day
And his guitar begins to play.
