A New Chapter
As a new chapter begins,
life takes on a new sparkle,
People become more
important
more carefully chosen,
A dance more liberating,
an instrument to help shed
the old skin,
Trust and love,
more meaningful
and more cautiously given,
Joy, more
liberally added,
spicing up life with a
smile and a laugh,
Chances more
daringly taken,
experience more strongly
applied,
My heart,
bravely ready to
try again,
To reach out and see
if someone will reach back.
