A Natural Life
Speak to me and sing your songs, Brother Tree.
Tell me of the years you've spent
Trying to survive.
Teach me the knowledge, Sister Stream
Of seasons past.
Show me how to find my way in the rhythm of
Your flow.
Sit with me a moment, Father Time
Silently recalling memories shared.
Embrace me gently for as long as you can.
Lull me to sleep, Mother Earth
For I'm weary after my long, hard day.
Allow me to rest in your bosom,
Then,
Send my soul flying home.
