FIRST PLACE

A Mysterious Disappearance

 

I once had a cat,
she was so beautiful, sweet, and loving.
Mysteriously,
she just vanished one day without a trace.
I searched, called for days,
weeping into my pillow each night since.
I still wait  .. . though I,
found my cat in the garden deathly still.
