A Music Box

Eyes stay closed,
A Soul unexposed.
A music box sweetly played,
And sweetly serenaded my mind and leaved me feeling betrayed.
It’s a finely tune sound,
That attracts sad illustrations and open wounds profound.
As its beautiful illustrations escapes,
My mind in the form of tear shapes.
The music box sweetly continued playing its music,
So very sweet and as a tune so melodic.
That I eagerly opened my eyes to the visions of war and death,
It left my body feeling ravaged and my lungs out of breath.
Now my soul is locked in voids forever darkness,
And a once innocent eye, I no more possess.
