A Much Smaller Place

Our planet's a much smaller place today the internet connects us one to one. And we understand what each has to say everyone can converse with anyone foreign translations are instantly done. We're now able to link with each other learn how we differ and what goals we share. Calling strangers my sister or brother we expound on love and voice our despair, conjoining cultures so each is aware. To find out what is happening in life, we no longer rely upon the news. And to protect our endangered wildlife we share global environmental views, posting pictures of what the world may lose. The internet changed how we interact; social media stands in for a friend. And as we distinguish fake news from fact, it provides a platform where wounds can mend, and innate similarities can blend.

Emile, wonderful Quintain poem ! I would be lost without the internet, especially during this pandemic we find we are in. This is a great example for your contest, and I hope to write a poem worthy ~Constance

Amazing how much technology can benefit us these days. Great work as always, Emile. I see from your example that you do not mind how many stanzas we do for your contest?
