A Mother's Love

As I lie on my weathered couch, I duly sigh
I seem to feel the loneliness of being so all alone
dreaming of all the things that could have been
fills my head with daydreaming of you and I.

The tenderness of painted love so soft and serene
has brought a scene upon my viewing eyes I do imply
brings a southern comfort of a smile within my eyes
a tender, touching moment of a mother carrying a baby to her chest.

She softly hums a lullaby of sweetest dreams so she can rest
Oh how sweet it is to feel the softest little-loved baby form
she thus depends on its loving mother's loving comfy arms
while she lays the little one to its bed so safe and comfy warm.

So baby can sleep with happiness of angel dreams all by its own
oh how sweet it is to feel the softest little-loved baby form
A loving tender mother has brought forth the sweetest thing on earth
a new born baby to fill her tender loving heart, the dawning of her birth.

Real nice to meet another Canadian, what part of Canada are you from? Or need I ask. What does a person have to do to get more people to leave a comment or two. I am from central Alberta Canada. Love your picture. Erin
