A Mother Denied
Your face at my success,
said I did not deserve it,
then you would express,
It was only worthless,
all I think is are you thick
cus if you’re not you’re evil
treating me the opposite
to all the other people
You just wanted me to be
the way you wanted me to be
success outside your vision
doesn’t exist and therefore isn’t
So you take my self belief
my confidence in pieces
ambitious drive deceased
why win when it’s defeatist
Quick to punish
discouragement
Treat me rubbish
I’m different
I was always useless
couldn’t do anything
I lie and make excuses
make yourself a victim
You can call it a mother’s nature
all it caused was bloody hatred
Never nurtured just berated
Now our lives have separated
I’ll only have one mother
thank god I don’t have two
All she caused was suffering
and now it’s all she’ll do
