A Mother
A mother begins her day
Just like the sun rises everyday
She wakes up her kids with a soft nudge
Then she prepares a lovely breakfast
Sending them off with kisses and hugs
Then she starts her day with her work
Always coming back earlier for her kids
Always remembers to pick them up
And shower them with abundant love and care
Supporting them financially and emotionally
Guiding them down the right path in life
Being our best friend and inspiration
Never asking anything back but our love
Never knowing that all along she has been in our hearts
Just like how we are in her heart all the time
For what would we be without a mother by our side?
She has always possessed the keys to the doors of our hearts.
