a pupa escapes its chrysalis. ~ a Monarch unfolds crumpled wings. a caterpillar morphs into a butterfly ~ metamorphosis Dual pairs of brilliant orange-red wings with black veins and white spots crown them kings. And appearing both poised and regal; to bring harm to one is illegal.
