A Moment of Divine Revelation
There was a time having been converted
that was receiving Jesus as my saviour
things in life went along rough and smooth
even found I showed better behaviour
One day in reading the holy scriptures
I saw God was completely sovereign over all
having chosen His elect before all creation
by His spirit obeying His heavenly call
This was a moment I was transformed
realising God in His mercy loved me
my salvation was not due to my works
but solely of God's choice this I could see
The more I meditated upon God's word
layer upon layer proved this is all true
men like Calvin, Luther, Edwards and Spurgeon
agreed these truths would see me through
What a moment indeed had truly happened
felt like I had been converted all over again
but God planted a deep desire in my heart
bless His holy name rewarded me among all men
