A Moment In Time

A Moment in Time

I want to feel the beauty
Of this moment
Stolen from the grasping hands
Of time
I want to shed the shroud
Of despair that shrinks
This heart of mine
I want to capture, arrest
This one moment in time
Is it not mine?
Alas it has already
Gone, scampered away
Indifferent
I have lost it.
