A Moment In Time

A Moment In Time

You’re sitting down
On a chair
Eyes closed
Breathing in and out
No sound
No interruption
But the breath
In and out of your nose and mouth
Hands flat, facing down
On your thighs
A pause from
The everyday tussle and drought
An occasion to
Collect oneself
Let go and take one’s time
