A modest request from a small woman
I used tangerine
diffuser oil,
just a few drops
on my hands
and various
healing rocks
I found
on the trails
here, in Greensboro,
North Carolina
USA.
I lit four candles
and prayed
silently
and
un-ostentatiously
while my husband
was still working,
one room down
in our one
story, 1400
square-foot
house.
I offered
a prayer of gratitude
for my
extraordinary
life, my health,
and my wealthy heart.
