holding you
watching the rain fall
cracking goofy jokes
making you smile
thanking God
i got the most popular girl
kissing you
forgetting about the falling rain
the chicken, shrimp, and grits are probably getting cold
even the water may be flat
thanking God
i got the most beautiful girl
thanking you
watching the sun slowly break through
rejoicing as you put your arms around me
enjoying your pretty smile as i wrap my arms around your waist
thanking God
