A Mighty Man Was I
I was once alive,
Within this plane of existence.
Displaying my mighty fighting skills
Flowing like water, I hit as hard as a rock.
How their radiant eyes gleamed,
Watching me, observing me.
Viewing my furious battles between thee,
I sink low to dodge my opponents.
Buzzing in fighting stance as a bumblebee.
And I bring one down in a death-defying grip,
I aim towards the heart, with a loud warrior scream
“You must be like water,” I tell them.
Adaptable to change was I
Remember the movie Fist of Fury?
Moving with grace I do not leave a trace
Coming from all angles,
Never was I once defeated.
I jump and kick with such magnitude
A look of serenity remains on my face,
I land like a cat, waiting to attack
I sprawl down on the ground and complete two finger pushups
Forcefully yet calmly, showing the world what I can do.
I embrace my strength and you should too.
I stand up against all odds
I live on
Fight your own inner battles
I live on
You use your sharp jabs and spinning kicks
I live on in an unseen world.
