A Midnight Storm
It starts out slow,
But then the winds start to blow.
Lightning flashes,brighten the night ,
showing long streams of white.
A low rumbling sound, as thunder shakes the ground,
Waking the world with its might,
Sending small animals running with fright.
Harder and harder comes the rain,
Causing the trees that are without leaves a strain.
Another flash lights the ground,
followed by thunder shaking the ground.
Sights it does bestrow as rain continues to flow,
filling pot holes as it goes.
