A Metamorphic Change
It was dawn, I woke up
Looked at the east sky
A huge Orange like sun there
Serenity everywhere
Nature was calling me
Perhaps to sleep on her lap
I tiptoed to my lawn
Sat on my easy-chair
Tea cup in my hand
Curly steams were raising up
A reflection of my face in hot tea
Reflected on the interface of my heart.
I looked at the trees
To my astonishment I saw
Greenery flowering down their eyes
They asked me
How are you ?
Birds Chirped up-
Good mornings, very good morning!
Squirrels greeted me
Invited me to watch them hiding nuts in grass
Deep love dazzling in their face.
Bright hues of marigold flowers
Their magical petals, supernatural attractions
Sew seeds of poetry
In the land of my imagination.
I pondered-they’ve not my own beings
Nor my descendants
But for them what would be my life
I might go-through worries.
Rooms of my old house
Came in a row, saluted me
Asked me to take care of my health
Doors, windows and dusts of room
Were so worried about me
I realized, I was socked.
Today I felt, they are my life supports!
I looked into me
I heard them praying for me
The poetry of earth was heat toughing
The blue sky opened its vast chest
I tried to open my heart, but couldn’t,
I painted the shade of my life
Almost blank!
On the black road
Know-unknown people walk
Their smiles blossom in me as un-withered flowers
Their sorrows pierce into my heart as poisonous thorn.
Suddenly a kid of two-three years
Came tottering by
Sat on my lap, touched my lips gently
Within a nano-second I deformed into a Kid
My heart is light now
What a metamorphic change!
