A Message To Deliver

I kept looking at the full moon as it burst through the deep blue clouds
searching under big trees dark bushes rubble and stores
uncovering antiquated act who's sin has painted the house top in black
The moon spreads joy and wonder
It spills rain water on the kitchen counter
and cosign its beautiful light at the reception desk
I sat outside at dawn absorbing the contentious heat that kept running
like river under my tired feet and messing with my heart beat
The moon travels slowly mounting upon hill tops discharging a radiant light
that landed on my head agitating the animals and sending the cows in a frenzy
I sat there quietly in the moonlight absorbing its energy
while black cars drive up the hill forcing the traffic to come to a standstill
I am angry, angry at everything,
how could you hath done such a terrible thing
This burden has rested upon me for months
and its getting bigger and bigger
I just cannot make a headway
I came on a long journey defying all the odds
putting on the greatest act that catapult me to the very top
I lie I bribe I intimidate I scream I shout and I threatened
Everyone is scared of me can't you see the evidence on every street
When I entered the ring I thought it was a game
but when they start shouting my name
reality comes alive and now I am living a viscous lie
I didn't do it alone it is all apart of the business and I had to see it through
Now I come to ask you to show me the way but you have rejected me
and turned your head the other way
Even though I did something wrong we can still get along
So lets just forget it and pretend that it never happened
I didn't come here to ask you questions,
I have a message to deliver
We will take your possession for all your transgression
I came on a long journey to see you
And I don't know if my message is getting through
I have spent sleepless night praying and travailing
Long days wandering through the woods
and wading through water
And listening to the birds surrendering to your cry
Pregnant women are rubbing their bellies
waiting on the historical birth
The moon is sucking my energy and I am running out of breath
When will this journey end I just cannot pretend
The days are getting shorter
and I still cannot get the answer
Here I am on this rock waiting patiently for you
I have searched for you persistently
to deliver this messages to you
The moon is traveling in-front of you
And we are waiting on the historical birth
