A Memory
The one I love,
I shall not forget
She gave of herself with no regrets.
Live your life with happiness,
Each day a new beginning
Take pride in your actions,
Share joy, love ---no yearning.
In my heart she shall be kept,
In troubled sleep, dreaming - I wept.
Of knowledge shared, of tears wiped dry
A pillow of thoughts, on which I lie.
Eyes open to the sun,
another day has come.
