A Masqueraded Angel
Outside the barn a fervent life awaits
She stares hoping there’s no dire straits.
As the blazing sun sparkles on the glass panes
Her subdued smile show no pains.
The contented cat grins and bear it
Loving his mistress his purrs transmit.
The large fork made the hay still
The field mice ran with a shrill.
Yet the lady looking out the window
Her unhappiness is fully on show;
Is her lover late or not coming at all
She waits patiently, nothing befall.
Her anxiety is to be admired
Even though she looks extremely tired;
Her lover is on his way though she doesn’t know
Yet when she sees him her passions grow and grow.
Note- this is not entered in Isiaah's contest because it is written in the wrong form.
