A Marital Duel
Way back in medieval Germany
If a married couples fight was bad
And no agreement, could be reached
A "Marital Duel" could be had
To even the field, between them
From a hole, the man had to fight
With one arm tied to his body,
To subdue some of his might
The woman could move as she pleased
But her weapon, was more than mocks
While she was moving around the hole
She was armed with a sack full of rocks!
Now I'm not a historian
But I'd say back then, in the day
This statement just might have been born,
"Ok, honey what ever you say!"
