A Man That Is But Human
Are there not better than I
With more wisdom than Love
To envision an ideal life
And entice your worries to impart
Be there not a more resplendent man
Walking upon this vast Earth
Who would sway your eyes with lecherousness
And your Heart with fairytale weaving
Can there not exist that mastered soul
Lingering within your wanton desires
That would save you from wretched me
That would assure this....an eternity
Or are you forevermore enslaved
To this existence that is reality
To a man that is but human
With trammels to withhold you from freedom
I am regretful my imperfections
For I am not of the Heavens
Nor far away worlds of conjure and make-believe
It is simply I...who would Love You totally
