A Lullaby Rising - a Poem About Me

I am
a lullaby, my heart
carries the melody and the
rest of me sings...my arms

Are the
wings which give balance to my
dance...my ears hear the music
of the wind...my hands beat

Rhythms
of the rain and my feet
tap, glide and let me twirl, head high,
watch me bend like limbs on

A spruce
tree, so free...my nose delights
at frangrant rose...my eyes
wee wonders of creation

My song,
a lullaby, my heart
carries the melody and the
rest of me sings...always!

This is very beautiful Cynthia. It is very creative the way you begin each stanza which flows into the next line. It does remind me of my poem 'I walk on water'. I am putting this one into my favorites. Thank you for letting me know about it. Blessings, Lotus
