A Lovers Distress

My life’s distress
I sit here with you in my mind
Tried to forget about you
But it’s been hard for me
All I see is you
My head is full of when it was us
After it ended
I thought I would be free
But it keeps coming back to me
Now I want you dearly
A light in me is off
I feel empty without you
I need you back again
It has to be tonight
I wait for the clock to strike
Know I have to make this call
To win you back again
And have my light up
Might be our last talk
Can be the beginning of us
All in your hands now
Will you take me back?
