A Lover Lost

Can you feel the reaper,
The silhouette creeper,
The grave yard wailing weeper,
Can you see him,
The ghost of memories past,
The ghoul who is here to last,
The one you held as a ballast,
Can you hear me,
The pained lover to be,
The poet lost at sea,
The bleeding heart that all but you can see.
Open your eyes.

Finding your lover in the dark with your eyes closed can be an extrodiary experience. I enjoyed this longing piece.
