A Love That Can Never Be Shared

Sixteen years of life has passed us by
Years of memories make us laugh and cry
The miles that separate us

We allow each other to grow old
Just dream of desires we hold
Knowing we cannot touch

Anger and jealousy has you bound
Loving you is all I found
For we will meet again

Our children are now grown
Years of the unknown
It doesn’t matter

Love the one you hate
Eleven years is not too late.
Love someone who will love you back

Burn the past to clear your mind
And then you will find
Me, still loving you.
